  3. Repeat and pause: Don’t hesitate to rewind, repeat, and pause scenes to catch unfamiliar words or expressions. This is why you have technology by your side!
  4. Take notes: Jot down new vocabulary, idioms, or grammar structures you encounter. Or add them to flashcard apps, for example – DuoCards. Review them later.
  5. Watch different genres: Comedies, dramas, thrillers, and documentaries offer different vocabulary and contexts.

While watching Spanish movies on Netflix is an excellent way to immerse yourself in the language, it’s also important to actively engage with the content using the Conversation Based Chunking method.

Instead of focusing on individual words, look for common phrases, expressions, and patterns used in natural conversations.

By chunking language into meaningful units, you’ll not only expand your vocabulary but also develop a better understanding of how words are combined and used in context in Spanish. This method will help you communicate more fluently.

So, grab some popcorn, hit play on your favorite Spanish film, and start chunking those conversations for a great language learning experience.
